Match Play is a golf/suspense novel. Dust of Autumn is a bloody one set in upstate New York. Prairie View is set in South Dakota, with a final scene atop Rattlesnake Butte. Life in the Arbor is a children's book about Rollie Rabbit and his friends (on about a fourth grade level). The Black Widow involves an elaborate extortion scheme. Doggy-Dog World is my memoir. And ES3 is a description of my method for examining English sentence structure.

Hand Art

How about a little hand art? Aren’t these amazing? And I just have to include some pics, front and back, of a piece of hand art I got a long time ago for holding spare rings. That's no gesture to you, dear reader, just a place to hang my rings. I usually save that gesture for rude drivers.

I got up this morning to a temp in the mid-twenties, a hard freeze. In my nineteen years here in the Valley, I don't remember having so many freezing days in a row. Must be part of the global warming stuff that has turned the lows and highs around, record cold here, record warmth in Chicago and New York. All our shrubs in back and front are now just black leaves. But they'll come back to life when it finally warms up. Until then, here's a finger for you, Mr. Weather.
